Project Description
Personal Impact Statement
Strategically positioned among the three world-class museums - Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi - the design proposal for Saadiyat Island Cultural District Residential Development surrounds a 17ha. retail complex. Each residential building is uniquely positioned, providing frontage to the retail complex as well as facing two of the three iconic museums. The neighbourhood aims to present an unparalleled retail and lifestyle experience through its luxury brands, family-oriented leisure and entertainment facilities, and luxurious residential and hotel developments
Working as a BIM manager, coordinator and technician I performed a solo effort as the only Revit user in the organisation at the time.
Coordinating the federated model with outside stakeholders for asset delivery to the local municipality authority, I navigated a tight time constraint with no internal assistance.
Albeit with late nights involved, the BIM model was delivered to the required standards and set the groundwork for future adoption of the software in the organisation.
